1. Moulding the clay sculpture
2. Cutting the head apart
3. Hollowing out to a thickness of 1.5 to 3 cm
4. Adding support to the two halves
5. Joining the two halves together
6. Correcting and smoothing
7. Drying ca. 4-6 weeks
8. Firing at ca. 950° C for 24 hours
